Business Consulting
  • Introduction

GMG Business Consulting provides an extensive range of business consulting services to clients in all sectors, both in the UK and internationally.

The services we deliver are focused on strategic initiatives (frequently transaction-driven), client-side advice and support and helping deliver operational efficiencies.

Our expertise is based on over 20 years experience in corporate advisory work, acting on all sides of the table, while our focus is very much on building trust and relationships with our clients and delivering efficient and innovative solutions to frequently complex challenges.

GMG is a shortening of the Forbes clan motto ‘Grace Me Guide’ and it is the Forbes tartan and crest that appear in our branding.

  • Commitment To Others

GMG is also committed to working with a number of charities, including our local hospice in Kent:

    Lottie’s Everest Challenge

Lottie is an elegant 6-year old English Pointer dog who climbed higher than Everest with her master to raise money for a number of charities as listed below. She did this by climbing mountains in Scotland and Wales, including Snowdon and Ben Lomond, and completed over 30,000 feet in 12 months.

She has subsequently written an illustrated children’s book recounting her adventures – details are at

The Charities Lottie was supporting were the MND Association, Down’s Syndrome Association, Cancer Research UK, Hospice in the Weald and the Back-Up Trust.

Snowdon Push and Yorkshire 3 peaks

The Back-Up Trust provides support for people with spinal cord injuries. In July 2013, we joined a number of teams who successfully scaled Mount Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales. Each team took a wheelchair-bound person up to the top and back – we took 7hrs 22. While we were well short of the fastest time, our team won the award for best canine assistance. All 11 teams did amazingly well in the searing hot summer sun, and an incredible £40,000 was raised for Back-Up.

In July 2015, we tackled and achieved the gruelling 25 miles of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, climbing Whernside, Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough in under 12 hours raising funds for Back-Up and our local hospice.

    Clanranald Trust for Scotland

The Clanranald Trust for Scotland was established in 1996. Its volunteer members are dedicated to promoting increased awareness of Scottish culture and heritage through interactive education and entertainment. As part of this commitment, the members of the Trust are building a full-sized fortified medieval village in the Carron Valley (near Denny/Stirling) - Duncarron Medieval Village project. The Clanranald Trust provides educational activities for schools, gala days and public events as part of its fundraising activities.

GMG also supports several other community project and charities.
